DHL appoints Matthew West as Global & Multi-National Customer Group Manager
DHL, the world's leading express and logistics company, recently announced the appointment of Matthew West as the new Global & Multinational Customer (GMNC) Group Manager for Malaysia.
In his new role, Mr. West will be head of a newly formed Group responsible for developing key customer relations in collaboration with the regional Global Customer Solutions (GCS) and GMNC teams, while undertaking the country leadership role in top level account sales initiatives. In addition, he will assume the responsibility of resolving customer issues and ensuring account managers have a clear understanding of customers' expectations and requirements at all levels within the business.
Mr. West has been with DHL for over ten years. During this time he has managed a number of Commercial roles at both National, Regional and Global level. His previous position was with DHL Global Customer Solutions (GCS) as Global Customer Manager for two global financial services customers, where he managed a virtual sales team across 72 countries.

Mr. West is a previous winner of the Emerging Markets Europe & Africa (EMEA) Regional Sales person of the year Award and more recently was awarded Top Performer for the Financial Services Industry within GCS.
