DHL expands retail footprint with new DHL SERVICEPOINT outlet in Menara TM
DHL, the world's leading express and logistics company, has recently opened a SERVICEPOINT outlet in Menara TM, its headquarters in Malaysia.
The DHL SERVICEPOINT outlet in Menara TM offers 'DHL Friends', a special program tailored for tenants in Menara TM. The 'DHL Friends' program includes offers on DHL 'Express4You' retail rates for international shipments (on freight charge only) lodged at the DHL SERVICEPOINT outlet in Menara TM. Other products are also available for walk-in cash customers, such as DHL University Express (UE), Express Pallet (EP) and Domestic (DOM).
Launched in 2005 with the opening of Malaysia's first DHL SERVICEPOINT in Menara Axis, this innovative retail strategy has met with huge success and enthusiastic response from customers. DHL SERVICEPOINT is a direct response to market evaluation studies, which revealed that customers seek wide choices in services, especially the flexibility to ship items at their own convenience. With this in mind, the DHL SERVICEPOINT outlets are designed with the key attributes of accessibility, convenience and user-friendly features.
Sam Leong, Country Manager for DHL Express Malaysia and Brunei, said, ?All our DHL SERVICEPOINT outlets are strategically located in high-traffic areas which are easily accessible by our walk-in customers. The addition of a retail outlet in Menara TM is timely and cost-effective not only to DHL employees but also to all those working in the building.?

DHL has plans to open several DHL SERVICEPOINT outlets over the next three years in key cities throughout Malaysia. The outlets will strengthen DHL's existing network and position it to further grow its customer base, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) whose success may depend on their ability to expand regionally and globally.
The latest outlet in Menara TM adds to the four SERVICEPOINT outlets already operating in Menara Axis, Bangsar Baru, SS2 Petaling Jaya, the DHL Klang Valley Service Centre in Glenmarie, as well as to the recently opened kiosk in Central Market, which specifically caters to tourists.
The DHL SERVICEPOINT outlet in Menara TM operates from Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm, and is closed on Saturdays, Sundays and Public holidays.
