DHL finance division staff on the move
DHL, the world's leading express and logistics company, recently announced two new senior appointments within its finance division in Malaysia.
Chen Theng Aik
Mr. Chen Theng Aik has been named Senior Vice President and Head, DHL Asia Pacific Finance Operations, effective from January 2006. Mr. Chen assumes the new position following his previous role as Chief Financial Officer for DHL Malaysia and Head of Asia Pacific Finance Shared Services. In his new role, Mr. Chen has the overall responsibility of streamlining finance operations and related activities in Asia Pacific, as well as growing the DHL regional shared services centre.
Mr. Chen brings with him over 17 years of financial expertise, having held various senior financial management positions with other prominent multinational corporations prior to joining DHL in 2005. He was awarded an MBA from the University of Minnesota, USA, and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Garris Chen
Ms Garris Chen has been named Chief Financial Officer for DHL Express Malaysia, effective from July 2006 following her previous position as Financial Controller. As part of her new portfolio, Ms Chen has the overall responsibility of managing all financial-related activities at country level, and is a key member of the senior management team.
Ms Chen brings with her over 20 years experience, having held similar senior financial management positions in various multinational organisations prior to joining DHL in 2005. She received an MBA from the University of Dubuque, USA, and is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK.
