DHL appoints new National Marketing Manager

DHL, the world's leading express and logistics company, recently announced the appointment of a National Marketing Manager for Malaysia.
Michael Dent has been appointed National Marketing Manager for DHL Express Malaysia, following his previous position as General Manager of Marketing in DHL UK. As part of his new portfolio in Malaysia, Mr. Dent has the overall responsibility of directing country strategy in line with the Area's profitability and growth targets. He is also responsible for the development and implementation of Marketing Plans, New Product Development, Market research and maintaining DHL's number 1 position in the market.
Michael joined the DHL network in 1984 and brings with him experience in Europe, Latin America and the Global Coordination Centre in Brussels. He holds a Master's Degree in Economics and a Research degree in Marketing from London Business School, and is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK). His main interests are Market Segmentation, Yield Management, New Product Development and Branding, and is a regular speaker on these topics.
